Returns and Exchanges
Receiving your order
Upon receipt of your new merchandise, please inspect it carefully as to contents and condition. All claims for damaged or missing items MUST be reported to us within two (2) business days of receipt of merchandise. In the event your package arrives damaged, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact the carrier to inspect the package to assure full refund/replacement. All packaging MUST be retained until the problem has been resolved.
How to change or cancel an order
If you want to make changes please contact us right away. To cancel an order you have to send an email to info@motorcyclemoods.com.au . To add to an existing order that has not been shipped please email or place a new order online and add to note to the order comments field to have us combine both orders.
Special ordered products like custom saddlebags, seats or windshields cannot be cancelled.
Easy Returns
Your satisfaction is very important to us. You can return any product approved by us as long as it is in original condition and with the original packaging for a full refund or exchange within 30 days. Products that have been installed cannot be returned. See for other exceptions below. Please contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Received the wrong products? If we make an error on the item(s) we ship to you we will happily incur all shipping costs relating to the error, including shipping the mistaken order back to us and reshipping the correct merchandise to you. There are no fees associated with this part of the process. An RMA (see below) is required and will be issued to you upon notification of the error to our office by emailing us within 2 business days as noted in "receiving your order" above.

All other returns If you are returning an item because you ordered the wrong item or just changed you mind or for any other reason other then defects then an approval and an a RMA number is required. An RMA is required for all returns. We will not accept any returns without a RMA number on the shipping label.

To obtain an RMA number you must contact us within 30 days of receiving the merchandise. All returns must be new, unused, and accompanied by a copy of the original Sales Receipt and in original packaging suitable for resale.

Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Special ordered products cannot be cancelled or returned unless authorized directly by the manufacturer for exchange.

Please ship the items back to us prepaid and with the proper packaging. For your protection, make sure you insure the package. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages.

We offer two options for exchanges: we will either wait until we have received your returned item before we ship out the new product. Or on your request we can ship out the new product right away, charge it to your credit card and issue a refund when we receive your return.
We do not accept returns on electrical products. All electrical items must be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. We do this to ensure that you get faster and more direct service for these components.
Exhausts:
Exhaust systems should be thoroughly inspected for defects in the chrome or other damage before installing onto the bike. If any defects in material or workmanship are detected you must contact us immediately via email and send information of the defects ( digital photo etc) and wait for further instructions. Once you have installed the pipes they are not returnable unless manufacturing defects are discovered when trying to install them. This does NOT include scratches and blemishes to the chrome, which as stated earlier, must be detected and reported to us BEFORE installation begins.
Warranties
Most items sold by us are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. Please contact us for any warranty issues. Depending on the manufacturer Motorcyclemoods will handle warranty claims inhouse or refer to the manufacturer. |
